The 2010 Rape Crisis Helderberg Fashion Show event was as successful as ever.
This exciting fundraising event is held annually to raise funds for the Rape Crisis and Safe-House, as well as raising awareness for this important work.
We had a fresh look at a variety of new products being promoted at the promotional stands.
The hostesses who hosted tea tables decorated them as beautifully as ever with spectacular flower arrangements and eats.
A table was sponsored by JENNAVIVA which was just so very beautiful and we invited the elderly from the BaptistChurch to be guests at the table. The cake decorated with purple roses was exquisite.
We had the privilege of “Hello Darling” demonstrating a make-over for the ladies, the models featured childrenswear by Hooligans and the adult clothing range by Carducci was modelled by Nutters Modelling Agency. Patricia McNaught-Davis was our Master of Ceremonies and our very own Reinette Evans had the pleasure of handing out gifts for everyone.
We also had a very dear guest speaker, June Kroukamp who gave her very touching testimony which ended in song which was very special.
All in all the ladies had a lot of fun and the morning was enjoyed by all. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped us in putting all this splendour together and especially to our amazing local entrepreneurs who gave so willingly in suppling products for the “goody bags” and to all the companies we approached to assist us in giving away “spot-prizes” and also for the raffle prizes which were all so lavish. And to everyone who bought a ticket and joined us for the morning. A great big Thank You from the bottom of our hearts…………
